I can't fold it the way I want, what to do?

I'm working on a new simulator over at packcad.com, I was able to get some better results:

New app allows you to control which creases are folding. This model acts a bit funny at the end, but I think if you get rid of the hole in the middle it would work better.

Great, I will check it out. Will be there features for pinning edges to ground and export objects bulk for blender animations?

Yes that's on my shortlist, coming later this summer. What is the ideal format for exporting mesh animations for you?

I thought I would do bunch of shapekeys. I need much of object export in some time intervals so I can get over of shapekey interpolation weirdness in Blender. But I doubt it would be smooth so I am open to discussion. I need the whole animation process.
Maybe frozing simulation and exporting at some moment could strengthen the program.
Also I have one more request. It may hard to implement but could we have the option of origami from obj file. Not svg file. Particularly need for cylindrical origami structure that changes length. Which is not flat as svg.

still don't have animation export yet, but you can export a static gltf with texture maps and pin down a face while folding: https://packcad.com/mockup
