Recent announcement of networking improvement for Adaptive Polling in new kernel 6.13 as described in https://linuxsecurity.com/news/security-projects/tiny-linux-kernel-tweak-massive-datacenter-efficiency-implications has spark excitement in Linux user. Do AL2023 have a roadmap on implement this? |

I'll double check with our kernel team but not that I am aware of right now. We do have a roadmap of providing newer LTS kernels though. I'll see if someone from the team can give you a better reply |

Following the availability of Linux 6.12 longterm stable series for Amazon Linux 2023 in Q1 2025, we are envisioning to make this an annual occurrence. So based on the December 2025 kernel getting declared longterm stable, with a bit of stabilization you will have this in Q1 2026 in AL2023. |
