What package is missing from Amazon Linux 2023? Please describe and include package name.

Is this an update to existing package or new package request?

New, but the expectation would be to be able to install multiple nodejs versions on a running system (18, 20, 22, 24)

Is this package available in Amazon Linux 2? If it is available via external sources such as EPEL, please specify.

N/A on AL2, Fedora 42 and 43 are including it and it will go LTS this fall

Any additional information you'd like to include. (use-cases, etc)

While not an aws employee, this would seem to be a blocker for the lambda, elastic beanstalk, and/or codebuild teams to implement their new features and runtimes on a timely basis.

I think, it wasn't "erroneously" closed, but rather "erroneously" titled ;) The title mentions two different packages in one request, and the description is pretty clear about only one version:

Node v22, which is the "current" version as of this request.

Once Node.js 22 was added, the case got closed. All looks pretty right.

As of Node.js 24, it is "current" at the moment. The Node.js planned the day of starting LTS on 2025-10-28 (almost 2 months)
