persist-credentials: false seems to break the publish-homebrew-formula step

In my workflow run here I get the error:

fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github.com/': No such device or address

When I downgrade to astral-sh/cargo-dist 0.28.3 it works again. I believe that the homebrew step was implicitly depending on the credentials being persisted.

I know you are mostly maintaining this for your processes and y'all don't use that step, so take this as you will. If you are open to a PR to fix this I could investigate the correct way to do it and PR it.

Separately, I know Gankra wrote a bunch of dist, I just wanted to say I love it and thanks for having saved me tons of time in the past.

thanks for this tip, this helped me get my homebrew releases working too, e.g. here's it working on 0.28.3 and here's it failing on 0.28.5 with

'fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github.com/': No such device or address'

for posterity, i used these commands to switch to v0.28.3

cargo install --git https://github.com/astral-sh/cargo-dist.git --tag v0.28.3 cargo-dist
dist init
dist generate
