Error cropping WordPress header images

It seems that there is some problem setting header images for WordPress sites.

Env: Lampsible 2.1.0, Remote Ubuntu 24, PHP 8.3, WordPress 6.7.1

Steps to reproduce:

• Install WordPress (example: lampsible user@host wordpress --apache-server-admin me@me.me --ssl-test-cert)
• Pick an older theme, like Twenty Fifteen or Twenty Sixteen
• Try to upload a header image in the Dashboard: Appearance > Customize > Header Image (or similar) > Add new image, then select the image, then Select and crop and then Crop

Expected results:

Should be able to successfully set the header image this way.

Actual results:
