Need to change property to "protected" so that sup- classes are able to access it, e.g. for testing if a "will" is going to be published by a broker.
These tests make use of iot.eclipse.org, using a secure connection.

I have written a few integration tests, using the free iot.eclipse.org mqtt broker, on a secured connection.
Basically it is just ensuring that the client can connect, subscribe and publish. If more should be needed, let me know...
