Description
With the latest Chrome builds (tested with brave-browser 1.81.33 nightly and ungoogled-chromium 137.0.7151.55, both Ubuntu 22.04), when you open a link in a new background tab with gf, the link you've just opened doesn't get marked as visited in the current / active tab (which is often done with the purple color, as, for instance, at the Google search results page).
If I open the link the "usual" way, with the middle click, it indeed gets marked as visited. And for the test purposes, I also tried Vimium instead of Surfingkeys: when opening links in the background with its F key, links also do get marked as visited.
- Surfingkeys were installed from Chrome Store (version 1.17.8) with the default settings
- Clean browser profiles were used.
