I have just installed the extention in Chrome in Ubuntu....
When I click on the icon for the plugin, I get this message:

I have followed the instructions in the https://github.com/browserpass/browserpass-native readme and I do not gett it to work.

Could someone help me with how i works and is connected to eachoter with all files that needs to exist ans what folders configuration needs to exist in?

I'm stuck and can't get the extension to work in Latest Chrome on Ubuntu.

Please share as much details as you can as to which methods of installation you have tried and what you observed, the manual method in particular is just a make command, and you can look in the Makefile to see exactly what files are installed in which locations.

I got it to work for Chrome and Brave. But NOT for FireFox:

It is similar to Chrome and Brave but does not work. What is missing?

@maximbaz Do you know how to get it to work with FireFox? The steps that I have added to a comment does not make it start working.

The most important thing is to check whether all the paths inside those json files are correct, beyond that there isn't really any easy way to debug this unfortunately, besides what is already documented in README 😞

I already had/have browserpass working for Chrome. Just installed firefox and installed the browserpass extension, and get the same thing: Loading available logins...

I then installed the browserpass-firefox package; I am on Arch linux, so did run:

sudo pacman -S browserpass-firefox

After that it worked.
