Android app - won't share/sync with computer

Hi all. I purchased the full desktop version, downloaded Android app from Google Play and installed on my Samsung Z Fold 3.

I followed instructions to the T to sync it together and after entering channel nothing happens.

Do I need to enter a new port number or is this an Android app bug to report?

It's likely an Android bug. I'm currently working on making sync less error-prone, so if it doesn't work after following the instructions, stay tuned and an updated version will fix it. If you want, you can submit an issue from the Android device. Exit the budget (hamburger menu then Exit Budget) until you see the Buckets logo on the main screen. Click the hamburger then click Report Bug and follow the prompts.

just letting everyone know my experience:
initially had the same issue as @JRC916 - using stable version on windows. (win10 prof)
When I installed it, I think I might have unchecked the firewall boxes.
I tried to fiddle with them, but just ended up deleting the rules.

Next time I opened the windows client it prompted me what kind of access it needed, i made sure PRIVATE networks was enabled.

After that, it all worked.

quick question @iffy : are there plans to allow transactions on the phone while you are away from home and have them sync when you get back?

I am running windows 11 with Windows portable as the regular windows installed wouldn't work on my LG laptop.

How do I find the "private network" settings? Thanks so much.

after opening the app and all the sharing stuff, make sure your machine is even listening?
in powershell type this:
netstat -an |select-string ":22322"
you should see something like 0.0.0.0:22322 LISTENING
