Closing and reopening forms are not showing the forms' content

Describe the bug

I've opened a few forms from Finder on Mac OS, and it showed just fine. Closing and reopening them from the recent files also worked. However closing the forms and opening them from Finder didn't work, the forms' content was not shown at all.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open forms from Finder
2. Close forms, but keep the modeler open
3. Open the same forms again in Finder
4. The console shows errors, don't know if relevant to this bug

Expected behavior

Closing and reopening a form shows the forms' content.

Environment

• OS: Mac OS 26.2 (25C56)
• Camunda Modeler Version: 5.42.0

Thanks for reporting.

I can reproduce it but only with the forms from the link. I was not able to reproduce it with a form with only a text area.
This is not a regression, or at least not a recent one. I was able to reproduce the problem on 5.36.1 too.
