I see one issue with the Qemu source code download instruction. If I download qemu with pull-ppa-source --ppa ppa:kobuk-team/tdx-release qemu, it downloads 9.2.x version which does'n work with underlying KVM and TD launch fails.

I had to use pull-ppa-source --ppa ppa:kobuk-team/tdx-release qemu 2:8.2.2+ds-0ubuntu1.4+tdx1.1 to download the matching source code.

I want to experiment with qemu functions, for that I want to know the github repo and branch used for QEMU 8.2.2 version used with canonical. I see QEMU version used with latest caninical is pull-ppa-source --ppa ppa:kobuk-team/tdx-release qemu 2:8.2.2+ds-0ubuntu1.4+tdx1.1. I am able to download the changes but it's hard to track the changes this way. Please share if we have githuv repo and branch/tag for the same.

I tried branch tdx-noble-8.2.2 with that Qemu reports error:
qemu-system-x86_64: -object {"qom-type":"tdx-guest","id":"tdx"}: Parameter 'qom-type' does not accept value 'tdx-guest'.

Am I missing any patch on top of this branch?

I was looking for the qemu/target/i386/kvm/tdx.c file and could not find at linkhttps://git.launchpad.net/~kobuk-team/ubuntu/+source/qemu/tree/target/i386/kvm?h=tdx-noble-8.2.2 but could not find it.

Could you please guide me to get the right code for noble.

@jkr0103 Hello, the way we apply additionnal changes on top of the upstream source code is via the patche files : https://git.launchpad.net/~kobuk-team/ubuntu/+source/qemu/tree/debian/patches/ubuntu/tdx?h=tdx-noble-8.2.2

In order to have a git repo with all the changes:

$ sudo apt install git-buildpackage
$ <clone the repo and go to the qemu root folder>
$ gbp pq import
