Surface touch breaks occasionally

Sometimes it seems like after a certain amount of time, or possibly after suspend, the surface input on the active surface breaks. To make it work again, the overview needs to be opened and the active window needs to be re-focused.

This seems very difficult to reproduce, it might be worth adding some debug logs that could help with troubleshooting.

I may have Just hit this in the terminal; inputs to the keyboard were no longer registered, and I had to quit the app and restart it. Could this be libinput related or is it more of a wayland thing? And if I encounter again, how can I get relevant logs to triage this, is there a specific journactl command I should invoke and then paste contents here so it may help?

Generally this issue only seems to appear after suspend based on my testing. I have not yet managed to track down exactly why this is happening. It's unlikely this could be libinput related, since it can always be fixed in the compositor by issuing new focus events.

If you encounter this in the future, just swipe up to get to the application overview and then click on the application that was already open. If it's the same issue then that should resolve it. Not ideal but shouldn't require a restart.
