Adding POIs on map is hard on small laptops

In a J+S Leiter/-in course this spring, we instructed the participants to bring a laptop or tablet. On several of these devices, the screen resolution is less than 1500px in width (on retina display Apple devices, the pixel resolution is 2x lower than the actual physical point density).
This media query displays the height profile centered over the map on such low-resolution desktop devices, making it hard to add POIs by clicking on the map. The route needs to be scrolled into view in one of the margins, and can't be displayed at a comfortable size.
To reproduce, resize your browser window to 1024px width and try to add POIs by clicking on the map.
