Macro "Open File" command ALWAYS opens file in new tab

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior in Obsidian:

1. Init a fresh vault with a.md and b.md. Install QuickAdd
2. Create a Macro named b
3. Add an "Open File" Command
4. Put b.md for File path, and keep "Open in new tab" disabled. Save
5. Open a.md
6. Run QuickAdd, and select Macro b
7. b.md opens in a new tab

Expected behavior
b.md opens in current tab

Thanks for reporting this and for the clear reproduction steps – that helped a lot.

This was indeed a bug in how the legacy openInNewTab flag was interpreted. Even with “Open in new tab” turned off, the macro was still opening the file in a new tab instead of reusing the current one.

In #1007, I've updated the Open File macro logic so that:

• When “Open in new tab” is disabled, the file opens in the current tab (reusing the active leaf).
• When “Open in new tab” is enabled, it behaves as a split/new context according to your settings.

The fix has been merged and will be included in the next release of QuickAdd.
