cannot get information regarding reward cycles

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
go to stacking pages
select a city
whirling wheel next to 'Loading current NYC reward cycle' notification

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
to be able to check my reward cycles for stacking and claim any STX

This was reported in the Discord as well - certain API requests are likely failing in the background and as a result the needed information is not loading. A fix is being looked into here with the next version of the site:
boomcrypto/citycoins2#5

Refreshing once every minute or two may get it to work for now.
