bind mount /proc/<PID>/mountinfo ?

I need this feature, is it possible?

You mean you want over mountinfo (--bind /foo /proc/pid/mountinfo) or from mountinfo (--bind /proc/pid/mountinfo /foo)?

Any/all PIDs
Possibly one could get away with bind mount of /proc/self/mountinfo but I don't think that will cover all apps

What is your goal? Why do you want/need this?

To replace the real mountinfo for an app (and its threads/forks)
I guess that means current and future processes/threads

• you would also need to bind over /proc/<tid>/mountinfo
• there is statmount
• there is statx
• there is /proc/mounts
• ...

It might work with just /proc/self/mountinfo (for all children too). Is that possible?
