Persistent desktop notifications

As of writing it seems like converse.js doesn't support persistent desktop notifications, while other projects like movim.eu support such, thus it seems to be technical possible. It would be great to have persistent desktop notifications in converse.js as well.

Has anyone added this. I like the client, but no notification is not going to work. Any update on when this will be added?
