Request for persistent column view settings on overview screens in the CP #18041

I’d like to request a feature enhancement for the Control Panel’s Element Index views (e.g. Entries, Assets, Users).
Clients like to set their overviews with specific information so they can visually easily scan information before needing to click on an entry to have the full content. If you have forms you can select what data columns (name, email,.. are shown on the overview pages of submissions but since these settings aren't saved the next time a user logs in they have to redo all the views in order to efficiently find information. This behavior makes it difficult to maintain a consistent admin experience and maintaining and moderating content in Craft cms for webmasters. This would greatly improve usability for content managers, editors, and developers who rely on customized views to streamline their workflow. |

Hi! You can customize default column settings per source from the same interface that you define custom sources. Any subsequent changes to these defaults are stored on a per user basis and can be switched back to default on demand (for each user and source separately). |
