I think you need to update your cylc-uiserver fork to pick up this change cylc/cylc-uiserver#641

I have replicated this error using an older version of cylc-uiserver, I can confirm it goes away when you use cylc-uiserver:master

This should be fixed in the offline mode (i.e. mock userprofile data)
