@yosifkit can you relaunch the build? |
Still failing 😢 |
Yeah definitely an issue with upstream's repo that we can't really fix without them doing something about it: 😞

Description: distributed storage system for structured data
Cassandra is a distributed (peer-to-peer) system for the management
and storage of structured data. Anyone know where the proper place to report this would be? It's not really an issue with Cassandra itself perse, and each project has slightly different preferences on where hosting, etc issues ought to be reported. 😕 |
This one's especially strange because both https://cassandra.apache.org/ and https://cassandra.apache.org/download/ have no mention of 3.2 at all (minus the blurb about |
Why we do not use the datastax repo?
|
@ltagliamonte yeah, I was thinking that myself after re-reading https://wiki.apache.org/cassandra/DebianPackaging (which says essentially "here go use DataStax -- if you must, we host one too") I wonder whether it's still worth reporting the issue with upstream's official repo though? |
@tianon if you want go ahead with reporting the issue. |
Filed as https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-11180, but it's worth noting that we've pushed 3.3 to the Hub in the mean-time, and that it's probably worth updating to that if you haven't already (especially since 3.2 isn't even listed on the main Cassandra homepage or downloads page anymore). Hopefully they'll either fix it or let us know we should abandon and use DataStax instead (or both!) |
Should be working now |
Also 33x is out :) |
🤘 thanks @tjake! While we have you for a moment, any thoughts on whether we should continue with these or switch to the DataStax repos? 😇 (We've already added 33x in master, and I've restarted the Travis job here so we can verify before we merge. 👍) |
Wooooot, green! 🎉 |
This may have to wait until cassandra fixes their apt repos.
