dotnet-counters monitor dumb terminal mode

Background and Motivation

My coworker was running dotnet-counters on a machine and noticing that nothing appeared to show up:

(it appears all the updates aren't written correctly for this terminal... not sure what that last zero is off at the bottom)

Proposed Feature

--terminal dumb mode where it just writes to stdout.

Usage Examples

dotnet-counters monitor -p 123 --terminal dumb

If I understood correctly, you have an old terminal that doesn't support VT100-style control codes and ergo you want a simple output?

As a simple workaround in the meantime, you could probably just write to a file and tail the file.

yes, we worked around it using collect to write to a file, but would be more convenient for collect to accept - as output or have monitor write to a dumb terminal

I tried to repro this running the command prompt as an administrator and everything printed correctly. What version of command prompt and .NET are you using?

Also reproes for me.

All I do, is:

1. Start an app
2. dotnet-counters monitor -p process_id
3. exit via pressing q
4. repeat the command from step 2

dotnet-counters version is 5.0.251802+592990b5913930a1b51b7505cdbb3b2205c79f03

@mikelle-rogers i think it was the latest dotnet-counters at the time. the issue was it was a windows server version with an older cmd that doesn't support vt100 apparently. i think a mode that just does console.writeline would be fine
