The issue was only seen with OpenLiberty's Jakarta Data tests — which is now fixed after this code change.
When we shared the exact same test details of the failing Jakarta Data test in this comment, I guess you added the test to EclipseLink. I can see it in EntityEmbeddableRecordTest.java. Those tests already passing in EclipseLink it seems.
