how to Process Initiation Authorization in flowable 6.3.1

8.8. Process Initiation Authorization

List authorizedGroups = identityService().createGroupQuery().potentialStarter("processDefinitionId").list();

but since activiti 6, it's not exist any more, how to process initiation authorization in flowable?

@dongwenting what you are looking for is in https://www.flowable.org/docs/userguide/index.html#security. It is no longer possible to get all authorized users for a process definition in that way.

In case you want to get the authorized users and groups you will first need to get all the identity links

List<IdentityLink> identityLinks = repositoryService.getIdentityLinksForProcessDefinition("processDefinitionId");

And then in order to get the users you can do:

List<String> authorizedUsers = identityLinks.stream()
    .map(IdentityLink::getUserId)
    .filter(Objects::nonNull)
    .collect(Collectors.toList())

And the groups:

List<String> authorizedGroups = identityLinks.stream()
    .map(IdentityLink::getGroupId)
    .filter(Objects::nonNull)
    .collect(Collectors.toList())
