Poldercast: Fig. 8. Event Dissemination Analysis

Potential problems with random link choice:

• If random links from Cyclon virtually doesn't help, why choose Vic+Cyc instead of Vic? The net effect seems to be decreasing the average fanout and wasting bandwidth.
• Pick links from Vic by relevant topic somehow? Decrease load to highly-subscribed topics, decrease discard chance by the recipient.

Poldercast: "In Fig. 10 we show the amount of unwanted traffic at each node. We can see that over 90% of the nodes receive more than 80% of unwanted traffic."

Figure reading mistake: less than 10% of the nodes receive more than 80% of unwanted traffic?
