The purpose of the software project is to develop a web-based Hospital CRM application in PHP, HTML5 and JavaScript, to do mainly the following:

1. There is going to be a web server, which will handle various requests from its clients. It will store all data in a single database.
2. The client applications will run on web browsers. All user input will be taken from these client applications and be transferred directly to the web server.
