maybe #2030 - just double check the path and which 'bash.exe' is being used. you may have accidentally been starting the wrong one. |
I don't get it.
What am I doing wrong?
I just double clicked on bash like I always used to.
Please how do I fix this?

thank you for your response! |
@yishairasowsky please follow the advice in https://stackoverflow.com/help/mcve to provide a Minimal, Complete & Verifiable Example. The information so far has so many gaps that too much is left for guessing, which is a poor use of time for everybody involved in this thread. |
I am having some computer trouble.
I have been using the git bash command line, and indeed it's very helpful. But now I encountered a problem, and I hate to trouble you, but maybe you know where I can turn to for help.
Whenever I try to open it, it just briefly displays the window (which says user bin bash login) and then closes right away.
This started a couple days ago, when I decided to clone a repository (Sefaria). The cone was going slow, because the repo was huge. So I closed out from git bash while it was in the midst of cloning. After that I could never open git bash command line again. I have tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. Plus restarting the computer. Do you have any thoughts?
Many thanks!
