This lets users easily see what has changed, and whether a given commit/PR is included in the latest release. GitHub does a nice job generating this automatically: https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/releasing-projects-on-github/automatically-generated-release-notes

Wow. Official https://github.com/actions/create-release is unmaintained. Guess 3rd party ones are superior after these 4 years. |
