haskell-mode prompts for a new session every emacs session

Everytime I restart emacs and fire up haskell REPL haskell-mode guides me through session creation process. Starts a new project, asks then for Cabal dir, for current working directory, for build target.

Is there any way to record session configuration into project directory?

I want this too: many of my own projects use rather simple settings.

I tried to hack something like this in (#409), but probably badly: I don't know if my changes make it impossible to select non-default settings.
