Current entry you provide for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge makes my VR mode distorted. Can tell me why? Is the current entry correct? Did someone try it? #

Hi. I tested it on an S7 Edge a few months ago when I first made the db entry. I don't have the device any longer, but I remember getting funny results when I changed the screen resolution (Settings > Display > Screen Resolution, IIRC). You might try adjusting that to see if it makes a difference.

I believe there's also an issue on some Samsung phones where the resolution changes when the battery gets low, which makes this difficult to anticipate.

Had some good conversations at the W3C WebVR Authoring workshop today related to the Samsung dynamic resolution issue and the polyfill. Will follow up with more information once we have a more concrete plan of attack for this.
