Storing data.gov

  • The interested organizations store it

    • Step 1: Get someone downloading the data
    • Step 2: Get the hash of the data
    • Step 3: Have a "Let's store Climate Change data togeter" page
      • Guide 1: ADD: (if you have it, please serve it)
        • Add IPFS to your already existing data
        • and open IPFS to serve it
      • Guide 2: GET: (download it now)
        • Straight-to-the-point-no-need-to-know-how-anything-works tutorial on how to participate
        • Have some text (little) that says it's best to distribute together
        • Pack tutorial (expert users or for who runs into troubles)
        • List of the companies
        • Actions:
          • Write down a short motiviational introduction <- here
            • We need to store it together, individual efforts are no good
          • We need links to "the problem", "saving data"
          • Write down the guide
          • Make & deploy the website page, and add the link to it
          • Test the guide
          • (possibly) make the illustrations (would be nice?)
          • Listing hackathons & things
    • Step 4: Call for actions and partners
      • list on the website
      • ask them to use and spread this blogpost as a way to distribute data together
    • Step 5: Communicate what is happening
  • Anyone storing
