BOM information #153

Hey guys I'm working on contributing to kicad's altium importing tools and was happy to find this repository. Thanks for all of your contributions!
From the description of the repo it suggests that BOM information is included somehow in the footprints but when I import footprints/symbols into Kicad I don't get the supplier/part information. Is this data stored in an external database or should I be able to find it by deconstructing .pcblib / .schlib files?
