You may find useful pieces of code to port over from my discontinued Ask Your Code ChatGPT Plugin. Please let me know if you want help in the integration. I'm most interested in working with a large C# code base, but Rust would also be nice.

The plugin supported these languages and document formats:

The parser code was refactored twice, so it is pretty clean. The plugin built a proper code map from the code base, in addition to free text search. So it could provide more help to the model, kind of what intellisense did for developers.

Thanks a ton for offering the AskYourCode components—I’m running this project solo and the C# parser you already have is exactly what I’m missing.

If you’re up for it, the most helpful next step would be a PR that adds a dedicated C# parsing strategy directly into my indexing pipeline. To keep it tight:

1. Implement a ParsingStrategy that emits my SymbolInfo/FileInfo structures so the shallow/SQLite builders and watcher can use it without adapters.
2. Stick with the PyPI tree-sitter wheels already in the repo (or document any extra setup) so Windows + uv users don’t need to build my-languages.so.
3. Include a lightweight fixture plus uv run pytest -k csharp coverage under tests/indexing/... showing namespaces/classes/methods getting indexed.

Let’s focus on C# first—if that lands smoothly we can talk about other languages later. If you’d like a quick walkthrough of the strategy interface before coding, I’m happy to sync. Really appreciate you sharing your work!

I haven't got around to port this. As far as I see you already have support for parsing C#. I guess this ticket can be closed then.
