Hey Justin,

This looks like a really useful tool for grading solidworks submissions. I like that you saw a problem in Mech Eng and solved it using Computer Science :)

I thought a tool I wrote might help you even more with marking, and will likely appeal to your ME and CS interests. The tool is a version control system with specific support for SolidWorks files, unlike Git. It will show you the full change history of your designs and which user made the changes. I expect this would be quite helpful when working out which student actually did work on the project!
