this just adds a --hide flag when starting, not the actual implementation :]

We have a implementation for the --hide flag, where it doesn't create a window, only tray icon

Cool. It works.

A question (probably I should open another ticket): why 2 settings are not saved between sessions? These are:

  • Adaptive Noise Level
  • One Bud ANC Mode

Is it because the AirPods reset them when disconnected?

And a suggestion: the name of the executable, applinux, is quite generic :-) maybe something like librepods or librepods-linux would be more descriptive.

Good work btw.

The answer is pretty simple. When changing the setting it will be saved on the airpods. When you connect to them, they will send you the state of the setting. Conversational awareness also isn't saved as far as i know.

And Adaptive Noise Level doesn't work in my experience

Thank you very much, and yes, that's something I wanted to do, but didn't have the time yet
