Design files for Iris SE case parts
In the printable folder, there are STL files for you to print out a case similar to the aluminum case design.
There are two versions of the tray files, one that uses heatset inserts and one that doesn't and has the screws thread in directly. The heatset insert version also has a recess to allow for the o-rings to be placed in.
In addition to printing the files, you will need the following parts:
- 10x M2 10mm screws
- Shroomies Silicone Feet
- (Recommended) Iris Silicone Switch Plate Support
- (Optional) Iris Silicone Tray Liners - Iris SE version
If using the version of the tray that uses heatset inserts, you will also need:
- 10x M2x5mm heatset inserts - 3.2mm OD, 5mm Length
- (Optional) O-rings - 4mm OD (Outer Diameter), 2mm ID (Inner Diameter), 1mm CS (Cross Section)
- AliExpress Listing for O-rings (Select
OD4-CS1) - AliExpress Listing for O-rings (Select
OD 4mm ID 2mm)
- AliExpress Listing for O-rings (Select
This design is not suitable for handwiring, as it's been designed with use of the PCB in-mind.
The silicone feet on the bottom of the tray can be removed. 4 of the holes are arranged in a 50x90mm rectangle and are large enough to accommodate M3 screws being inserted through them. The other two holes are spaced 50mm apart.
