Community External Applications
Here are the Community External Applications. These are accessible on the HBNet MQTT server (mqtt.hbnet.xyz). Your data gateway should be configured to use these services by default. Check your data gateway's External Services page to see what you can access from your network.
Get current conditions for a city. SMS should look like #WX [CITY].
Example: #WX chicago
Only supports city names at this time.
The E-Mail gateway allows the sending and receiving of email via DMR SMS. A DMR user can send an email by adding the recipient email address to the beginning of the SMS, followed by the message. An email sent to the gateway email address must contain the DMR recipient's DMR ID in the subject line. The message is then saved, and a notification is sent via SMS to the DMR user. The DMR user must send the GET command to receive all qued messages.
It also allows users to create shortcuts for email addresses, thus allowing longer messages to be sent.
| Command | Action |
|---|---|
| REGISTER | Register DMR ID with gateway. |
| ADD | Add shortcut to email address. |
| GET | Retrieve emails. |
To add an email address shortcut, send the command to the EMAIL external application, followed by the add command, then the email address. For example:
#EMAIL ADD TST [email protected]
This would assign [email protected] to shortcut TST.
Simply send an SMS to the EMAIL external service, starting with the recipient's email address, then the message. For example:
#EMAIL [email protected] This is a test message.
or
#EMAIL TST This is a test message.
Simply send the GET command to the EMAIL external service. For example:
#EMAIL GET
