Thanks for the PR! At this current time we can't merge it as it would put it out of sync with the book (we're deciding what the best way to do an update is). But I'll leave it here for when that time comes |

Converts all the event loop future APIs to their equivalent async await versions.
What's left:
Google, GitHub and Apple sign-in are not tested with real tokens or URLs.
Tests: other than adding
async await's, I didn't do anything else. Currently it gives "Application.shutdown() was not called before Application deinitialized." error.
