SIMPLE-ERROR on macrostep breaks Lem

When using macrostep on something that leads to a SIMPLE-ERROR, the whole IDE breaks and I need to restart it. This happens only with macrostep, not with macroexpand.

The tabs in the webview still work but the rest of the IDE does not respond to keypresses or clicks.

Oh it does seem like breaking with C-] works. C-g and Esc do not work. This is the backtrace:

I'm glad I could share how to keep the editor from crashing.
By the way, as you mentioned, macrostep has bugs, so it should be fixed.
