@efriedma-quic I'm looking at the commit history of this file:
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/commits/release/19.x/llvm/test/CodeGen/X86/fp-strict-libcalls-msvc32.ll
The auto cherry pick failed because I added the test for msvc out of order in 378fe2f
That commit added some vectorizations nothing that should impact the fix.

LGTM. Fixes a regression, and should be low-risk (the fix only affects the exact functions on the exact target with the issue).

@efriedma-quic I don't have permissions to merge to the 19.x branch. If you think its ready please merge at your discression. |
|
I will merge it before then next release. Only the release managers can merge to the release branch. |
Windows does not support float C89 math functions like: - acosf - asinf - atanf - coshf - sinhf - tanhf These 6 libfuncs need to be type promoted. This PR fixes the bug introduced by llvm#98949

@farzonl (or anyone else). If you would like to add a note about this fix in the release notes (completely optional). Please reply to this comment with a one or two sentence description of the fix. When you are done, please add the release:note label to this PR. |
