qterminal key ` and ~ error when started from lxde (xfce4)

if qterminal gets started from lxde (xfce4), the keys ~ and ` do not work. I am entering these keys by pressing the AltGR and ^ key together.

It works in xfce4-terminal and if qterminal gets launched from an existing qterminal window. But not if qterminal gets launched from the GUI.
