Magento 2.2.4 Multishipping Order Confirmation Emails sent only for the first order

Summary:
Currently, I have upgraded the site from Magento 2.1.7 to Magento 2.2.4. After that When I tried to place the order with a different shipping address in Multishipping I got the Email for the First Order and I didn't receive order confirmation Mail for the second order in Multishipping.

Note: The same functionality was working fine in 2.1.7

Preconditions

Magento 2.2.4 Community
PHP 7.0
Ubuntu 16.04

Steps to reproduce:

1. Add 2 Items to the cart
2. Proceed with Check Out with Multiple Addresses
3. For 1st item select an shipping address and For 2nd item select a different shipping address
4. Place the order
5. Two order id's are generated

Actual Result:
Now I can able to receive an email for the 1st order and I didn't receive the order confirmation for the 2nd order.

Expected result:

Email Should be sent for both the orders
