Unable to install under IIS / FastCGI

I was able to install up to about 3 commits ago but now I get nowhere with the install. Anyone else. I tried php 5.4, could try others i guess.

Now Magento 2 application requires mod_rewrite enabled in Apache and support for .htaccess to correctly load CSS/JS/images.
You need alternative for IIS. Magento 2 doesn't have it documented/provided. I'd suggest you this thread http://stackoverflow.com/questions/257936/htaccess-or-htpasswd-equivalent-on-iis

An alternative to running Magento in IIS/FastCGI? Actually I've found Magento runs best given this configuration in the past and the issue with url rewriting is not new in windoz.
Are you telling me that Magento will no longer include compatibility with IIS?

I mean that you need to setup your IIS so that it will support .htaccess files or IIS will have same configuration as Magento .htaccess files. I'm not familiar with IIS, but the post from stackoverflow has information.
I expect that Magento 2 should be compatible with IIS, but it's not tested as far as I know.

@gfxguru, unfortunately IIS is not officially supported

@gfxguru, the team processed this issue and deployed the fix in version 0.1.0-alpha93. We are closing this ticket now.
