You need upgrade MySQL to version 5.6 |
Maybe the installer should check the MySQL version and display a warning/an error? |
@ooxi , we're currently working on adding validation of MySQL version. |
To bad this bug. Mamp for OSX doesn't support mysql 5.6. This can be a big issue cause a lot of developers are using osx and Mamp |
@cloudswork-ruud Usually MAMP is pretty customizable when it comes to upgrades... I haven't tried this solution, but this might work On a separate note, I have tried something similar for the php upgrades in MAMP. That worked.. so I guess above should work. |
@cloudswork-ruud Not working with MAMP out the box is not an issue in my opinion. One should adjust development environment to suite production, not the other way around. |
