Organization charts are a frequently requested feature — there is an existing discussion with some good prior art at #3989, as @lee-treehouse noted.

A new diagram type is a significant architectural effort (new Langium parser, DB, renderer, styles, theme support, tests, and docs), so this needs maintainer input on scope and priority before work begins.

For now, some workarounds:

• The flowchart diagram with TB (top-to-bottom) direction can approximate simple org charts
• The mindmap diagram provides a hierarchical tree view that may fit some use cases

We are flagging this for human review to assess priority alongside other new diagram requests.
