Given the growing use of trick JIT I think it might be useful for users to know if there S_main*.exe has been changed by the JIT. I think a S_main*.exe checksum check would be a useful way to do this. While it doesn't guaranty a JIT change detection. It could be bit flipping radiation after all. It would be a useful way to at least let operates know that their sim doesn't match their checksum from compilation. Which would be useful feature when you are running in a simulation in a testing facility or a facility that has an irrational fear of JIT goblins.
