Creating Stand Alone Executable

Hello,

I am able to create a stand alone executable from the gRPC server Hello World example. The executable build just fine and executes without any visible error. Unfortunately it does not appear to stand up the server or perform any useful functionality. Is this a known issue?

Hi, the helloworld example has unary requests implemented! So unless you create a client and initiate an RPC, the server will be idle waiting for any RPC.

Or if you mean, you're unable to run the binary, there might be some library files missing! Usually in Windows we need to copy certain DLLs to the Application Data directory.

I am able to run the binary but it does not appear to start the server. Nothing is bound to 50051
