Scripts for setting up a development environment for hive. Everything is automated by running a makefile "Makefile.environment".
The setup is rootless and OS-independent as it only uses binaries that are downloaded into a .tmp dir in the repo's root.

The process is described in the developing.md doc, with additional information on how to set up VScode for debugging.

It currently only works on amd64(x86) arches, but the idea would be to try to make it run natively on other arches, like arm/aarch64.

Hi @msu8. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a openshift member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.
