External DNS name not getting set

Whilst spinning up the OracleSoaSuite images using the respective image from Oracle container registry version 12.2.1.3. i noticed that the admin server external dns name is empty.
In my case the external dns name is the address for my load balancer which i use to route through to the Admin server.

It just looks like updateListenAddress function does nothing. I probably wouldnt care about except im told that it might be a reason why i cant connect to the server from Jdeveloper.

The setup i have is in an AWS ecs cluster. We have an AWS network load balancer listening for connections and routing them through to a single AdminServer on port 7001.
We have 2 managed servers that also sit behind a aws network load balancer listening for connections on 8001.

when i don't have the external dns name set the system starts up really fast, and when i set the external dns name i.e the load balancer dns. the admin server struggles to startup. I have waited a whole hour once and it just crashed out.

Its difficult to figure out what is happening there are no real errors in the logs that would suggest a problem, it just logs and logs very slowly.

Its not a huge issue in that managed server is processing requests and the admin server is also working, the only issue that has led me to this externalDNSname is that i need my jdeveloper to connect to the soa domain and somewhere i read i needed to set this.

Unfortunately when i try to create an ide connection it fails.
The connection test shows all success but its not pulling the servers back.

Without this it is very difficult for developers to work efficiently
