I'm currently studying Computer Science, with a focus on software development, algorithms, and data structures. I'm also exploring topics like artificial intelligence and machine learning. I’m working on my thesis right now which is developing a new system, including developing a web application to track scores for students . I’ve been diving into languages like Python, JavaScript, CSS for various projects. I’m focused on becoming a full-stack developer and eventually working backend but want to pursue full stack developer. I aim to gain practical experience, enhance my problem-solving skills, and collaborate with like-minded individuals in the community. By being part of this community, I hope to learn from others, share my experiences, and grow my network with fellow developers. |

Hello everyone! My name is Saikat, and I’m currently diving deep into the world of data science and machine learning. I enjoy working with real-world datasets (like House Prices) and focus a lot on feature engineering, missing value imputation, and preparing data for modeling. What excites me most is not just solving problems, but also breaking down complex technical topics into beginner-friendly explanations. I love using analogies and clear code comments so that concepts feel accessible to anyone, whether they’re just starting out or preparing for interviews. Beyond coding, I’m methodical and curious—I always ask “why” behind each step to ensure deep understanding. My goal is to grow as both a learner and a teacher, sharing knowledge in ways that help others. Looking forward to connecting with fellow students, teachers, and enthusiasts here. |

👋 Hi, I’m EricaI’m a Computer Science student with a concentration in data analytics and a long-standing interest in how complex systems behave under pressure. Hi everyone, my name is Michael Primo. This is my second semester and my first year at CCSU. I am majoring in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. I graduated from Middlesex Community College, and I have been an honor student on the Dean’s List. I also have a background in computer science and networking, so I like working with both the theory and the hands on side of tech.
Right now I am focused on getting through calculus and trigonometry, which has definitely been a grind. I am trying to stay consistent and keep pushing so I can finish strong and keep moving forward in my program.
I am also paying close attention to how fast AI is advancing. Sometimes it feels like it is going to get a better jump on me, so I am trying to learn as much as I can while building real skills that will still matter. Looking forward to meeting everyone here and learning from the group.

I tend to ask:
* What incentives are driving this outcome?
* Where does the workflow introduce friction?
* What does the data reveal beneath surface metrics?
🔎 Currently Exploring
* Python and SQL for data analysis and structured decision-making
* Java and C++ fundamentals
* Root-cause analysis and workflow optimization
* Foundational cybersecurity concepts (risk, system vulnerabilities, defensive thinking)
* How system design influences behavior and performance
I’m particularly interested in the intersection of analytics, system architecture, and security, and understanding not just how systems function, but how they fail, degrade, or become exploitable.
Good systems reduce noise.
Great systems reduce excuses.
