Hey @Muhabbatucg2,

I totally get your frustration - the location verification can be really picky. Unfortunately, you do need to be physically inside the campus boundaries for it to work properly. Even being 1km away can cause it to fail.

Here's what usually helps:

  1. Try from a campus computer lab or library - these locations almost always work
  2. Enable precise location in your browser permissions
  3. Turn off VPNs/proxies if you're using any

If you absolutely can't get on campus, you'll need to contact GitHub Support directly at support.github.com/contact and explain your situation. They can sometimes verify manually if you send:

  • A screenshot of your location (from maps)
